Following the recent premiere of ‘Stratus‘, the second single, ‘Gličer‘ has just arrived, marking another announcement for KaliKamo’s debut studio album ‘Jedinstvo‘ (PDV083), set to release on February 28. Starting today, vinyl pre-orders are also available at a discounted price of 20,00 €.
‘Gličer‘ is an ode to all Mediterranean eccentrics, restless wanderers, urban troublemakers, barroom hangers-on, rural village fools, or the so-called “Icy Tarzans,” as they were once referred to by Kali Fat Dub.
KaliKamo are Croatian four-piece band that skillfully navigates through sound system culture and low bass frequencies, the distorted energy of the French dub school, extravagant, spacey, and trance-like synth bravado, precise and metronomic drum beats, masterful use of loopers, melodica and tar, processed vocals, and captivating spoken word segments. The album ‘Jedinstvo‘ (PDV083) will be released digitally and on vinyl under the PDV Records label on February 28, 2025. The album launch event is scheduled for March 6 at Močvara Club, with many more dates to follow; details coming soon.
