Dubar Sound, the producer behind the project, Dražen Čižmek, has been involved in music for over 15 years. After self-releasing several albums in his younger days (2007–2012), 2017 marked a new chapter in his career. Since then, he has released three albums, several singles and collaborations, and multiple releases for various record labels such as Warrior Charge Records, Woodland Records, Amplifyah Music, PDV Records, Do It With Others, Homegrown Sound, and Paproota. “Dream Reality” (PDV068) is his latest studio release, published by Warrior Charge, Woodland Records, and PDV. This album also marks his first full-length album released on vinyl. In his performances, Dubar Sound exclusively plays his own productions, and over the years, he has shared the stage with various artists and performed at numerous festivals and events. Besides dub music, he is musically active in other projects and genres. Despite being content with his achievements so far, he sees himself as just beginning and continues to strive for improvement in the future.
The journey began with the song “Passion Before Fashion” created in 2015. The track remained a sketch for a long time as there was no clear idea of how to finish it until 2021 when it was finally completed and sent to David at Warrior Charge. He liked the song and decided to press it as one side of a 10″ release. However, due to the circumstances at the time, including frequent lockdowns, progress was significantly delayed. The project was revived at the end of 2022, but with the idea of creating a full album instead of a single. Apart from the song “Passion Before Fashion” the rest of the album was produced from the end of 2022 to the end of May 2023. Vanya O, an individual and artist whose work Dubar Sound greatly appreciates, makes a guest appearance on the album, serving as a significant inspiration for its creation. While composing the songs, Matt and Billie (Woodland Records) and Vedran (PDV Records) joined the project to facilitate the realization of the vinyl. Matt handled the mastering (Pressure Mastering), Vedran managed contacts for the vinyl production, and together with David, they are recognized as the publishers and distributors of this album.

Marko did an excellent job in a very short time and delivered artwork that perfectly complements the album’s narrative. Finally, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It was a pleasure working smoothly and going through the whole process with you. Last but not least, thanks to all my friends and people who follow and support my work. You are equally important in all of this, and together we have completed another chapter. The song ‘Depth Of The Ocean’ is about challenges and new adventures, until the next adventure and chapter. The album “Dream Reality” (PDV068), is a collaborative release by Warrior Charge Records, Woodland Records, and PDV Records, and will be available for purchase from Friday, December 29.
