What is the beginning? I wanted to have a video in the neon wave practiced by directors Refn, Noé and Cosmatos. ‘Picnic‘ is a documentary about the suburbs, and ‘Kinky‘ is a city story, so here’s a good opportunity to bathe it in neon. Kocanjer is a cool character so we quickly clicked around aesthetics; Dora, Ina and Tonka said yes to the idea and the term, Hadra gave the car, and Pločnik gave us the space. Without too much planning, we made an appointment and shoot with a lot of improvisation and spontaneity.
Plazmatick
‘Kinky‘ is Plazmatick’s freshly released, new video! Filming, editing and directing were done by Pavle Kocanjer. The main roles (along with one plastic doll) were played by Dora, Ina and Antonija. The idea, visuals and production are the work of Mihalinec Studio. The video itself is a sequel to the previously published ‘Picnic‘. A third video is also planned to round out this visual trilogy. The song is featured on Plazmatick’s recent full-length “Cuddly, Cuddly” which is available as a double deluxe vinyl release, a standard vinyl release and in digital.
