After a successful concert promotion of the album in Zagreb, One Dread is preparing to perform richer arrangements of their debut album at Sax, for the release of the vinyl and cassette version. The standard seven-piece lineup of One Dread will perform alongside the Green Horns brass section, thus stepping firmly into the roots/dub realm with a very specific live performance.
The album “Rewind, Play, Repeat” equally praised by music critics and audiences, was primarily conceived as a vinyl release, making this promotion an ideal opportunity to purchase vinyl, which will be available a day before, on March 8th, 2024. Vinyl and cassette will be available for purchase on the day of the concert at Sax or by pre-order through PDV Records.
One Dread is a Zagreb-based band composed of the striking trio TNT vocal force (Tea Anzulović, Nika Starčević, and Tena Starčević) and four instrumentalists gathered under the Bad Boys name (Goran Egić, Borna Ivezić, Ivan Perković, and Matej Smiljanić). Although the music group was founded in 2007 with a primary focus on covering hits from the reggae and roots genres, it wasn’t until 2015 that the band lineup was formed, with Tea, Nika, and Tena transitioning from backing vocals to the forefront, backed by a strong rhythm section (guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums). Over the past decade, the band has performed throughout Croatia and abroad, frequently appearing not only in clubs but also on the stages of domestic and European festivals.
The album mix is credited to Dr. Obi (Amplifyah Music), mastered by Filip Motovunski (FM Mastering), the publisher is PDV Records, and graphic designer for the cover of the album by Mislav Lešić (Lord Chardak).
Tickets priced at 7.00 euros can be purchased in advance, while on the day of the concert, at the club entrance, the ticket price will be 10.00 euros.
