SAM BINGA (CRITICAL/EXIT/50WEAPONS/BUNIT)
If you’re fully in the know, or if you pay attention to wider movements in the music world, you’ll realise that there’s some serious weight behind the Sam Binga name, with countless gigs and worldwide tours covering pretty much the whole spectrum of underground dance music under his belt. But that’s not important right now: what’s important is that mix of dirty-south swagger, Chi-town footwork and UK pressure people like Sam Binga are bringing to the table. Fresh, weird and strictly fire on the dance floor.
Sam Binga has placed himself firmly at the centre of this new wave, and done so with only one remix and a collaborative EP on general release. The remix (of ‘Rise Again’ by Blackjob) received support from heavy hitters such as Rockwell, Kasra and Doc Scott while the EP was a collaboration with Om Unit, released on dBridge’s EXIT Records and raved about by everyone from Mark Pritchard to Alix Perez (check his Essential mix), Spectralsoul and DJ Die. All of which makes the swell of attention around Sam Binga more than mere hype – look at the tracklist for Kode9′s Rinse:22 mix CD to see just how far the interest is spreading.

Versa effortlessly combines elements of Dub, Techno, Electronica & Downtempo music, with an abundance of soul throughout. He first started making electronic music in 2005 in Milton Keynes, England. Dub music has always been his passion and the foundation of his musical style. After years of experimenting with sound and making steady movements in the local scene he moved to Manchester in 2010. There lifelong connections were formed with local artists such as Indigo, Biome, Synkro and club night promoters Selective Hearing. This is where he took his game to the next level and cemented his reputation for precise, methodical and clinically executed production.
After a couple of years as resident DJ for top Manchester club night, Selective Hearing, VERSA took his sound international and has been lucky enough to perform all over the world including Berlin, Outlook, Dimensions & Echo Festival (Croatia), Wales, The Netherlands, India & Sri Lanka. With numerous releases & collaborations on labels such as Cut Records, EMF, Macabre Unit, Smoking Sessions, On the Edge, Samurai & ICUaudio, VERSA is still finding new ways to keep his sound fresh and interesting. His DJ sets are a reflection of his vast musical knowledge, drawing from Dub, Techno, Dubstep, Garage and Soul influences to produce an eclectic blend.
ROWL (The Crescent // Smoking Sessions // M.U.D // Icuaudio)
UK dj and producer currently residing in Bristol. Drawing Influences from genres like garage, 2-step and even hip-hop and soul, Rowl manages to walk the thin line between minimalism and full-impact dancefloor bangers. His releases on Smoking Sessions and Demon's M.U.D. Label alongside Versa enabled him to gain the attention he well deserved, while his soulful and geniusly minimal Egipto EP on Crescent sealed him as a big player in this dub-techno-influenced soulful-minimalistic-garage sound. He is co-founder and a resident in Bristol's deep bass night called Geometric. As he already gained support from the guys like Synkro and DjRum, you can say that the future is bright for this one.
INKARV/VRAK (Symbols (US) / Instinct:Audio (UK) / ICU:Audio (UK) / Prospekt Records (UK) / Stifle (UK) / Vulcan Audio (US))
The Inkarv sound is more deep orientated, a blend of light house meets R&B with some chilled out Dubstep. The Vrak sound is complete opposite, focusing more on the darker techno side of things fused with the ever growing sound of the UK underground bass scene. A typical Inkarv set would consist of a blend of my own dubs, Garage, Future R&Bb and Deep130bpm vibes
VRH (ARX/TRIBE12/DUBKRAFT/METNEM)
Originally from Split , VRH comes into play with already established music background and history as Implant ( Freak - Obscene , Temper D Productions , Melting pot , etc) . Dissatisfied because of the lack of diversity in the music he produced , the name was changed in VRH and he began experimenting , showing his hip - hop, IDM and dub roots mixed with elements of Drum and Bass . Soon after changing his style , VRH signed to labels such as Architecture , Tribe12 , Metnem and Dubkraft .VRH is also official DJ for a rap group "Kiša metaka" for which he is working on post-production of the album . He has worked also with "Dječaci" on the album " Istina " and was a DJ support for Bore Balboa and High5. VRH is One of those responsible for the 10 years drum and bass party in Split called " Quarantine " which is hosted many world-renowned DJs and producers.
