We are announcing the digital release of the first self-titled album from Zagreb dub band Radikal Dub Kolektiv (PDV050). The release will be officially published on May 14th, 2021, and will be available through our Bandcamp profile as well as on all digital platforms.
Radikal Dub Kolektiv (RDK) was founded in May 2002 and ceased to exist in June 2010. They were formed after the break-up of Abrakha-Dub-R, the first band to do original dub/reggae in this area. The eponymous debut is the first Croatian dub album, with ska, punk rock, and trance influences. Originally released in 2004 as a CD by Zvuk Močvare, Kingston, and Humanita Nova. It was reissued in 2008 as LP / MC (NNNW), with a special tribute to Domagoj Šeks, a deceased member of the band. On this occasion, it will be published for the first time in digital format.

Radikal Dub Kolektiv (live)
One of the special features of Radikal Dub Kolektiv was the imitation of electronically produced music, through a standard rock line-up (guitar, bass, keyboards, drums) and live dubbing techniques, which in combination with frequent, mostly self-played concerts at higher speeds, created the enthusiasm of most of those who had the opportunity to meet the work of the band during its existence, and all together resulted in the launch of a very agile Croatian dub scene.
