The Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) will be running for fourth time in cafe-bar Pločnik, Međimurska ul. 21, Zagreb, starting in March 2018. This course is for people with no prior experience of Mindfulness and also for people who already practice Mindfulness.
The MBLC is an 8 week course created by the UK’s Mindfulness Association (MA). It is a comprehensive introduction to practicing mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness is a secular practice which involves no religious beliefs or affiliations.
The dates and themes for the next Mindfulness Based Living Course (all 10:00-12:00, Saturday morning) are:
Introductory Session: 17/03/2018
There is no charge for the Introductory Session, which is a ‘taster’ of the course, to allow to decide if you wish to continue with the MBLC or not.

There is also ‘Mindfulness Day’, (date to be confirmed).
MBLC is being delivered by Dr David McMurtry, an experienced mindfulness teacher and Emeritus University professor who lives in Zagreb. The course will be taught in English.
The course fee is 50 kunas per session or 400 kunas for all 8 weeks. There is no fee for the Introductory Session.
Each week the course involves:
- a session together on Saturday morning, 10:00-12:00;
- mindfulness practices to undertake throughout the week;
- audio files of tutor-led practices to download;
- a course handbook or manual;
- a follow up email.
